Anaheim, California (May 13, 2002)--The Orange County Gift Show has extended its early
registration deadline for exhibitors to August 31, 2002.

The show, sponsored by the Gift Basket Professionals Network (GBPN), is scheduled for
Saturday, October 12, 2002, from 10:00 to 6:00 p.m. at California State University in Fullerton.
"We've had many requests from new and returning vendors to extend the deadline," says Flora M.
Brown, show chairperson. "We expect a record number of buyers this year and want to give exhibitors every opportunity to participate."

Approximately 80 vendors, including Lion Ribbon of Chester, New Jersey; JDW Distributors of
Tustin, California and Wholesale Baskets of Phoenix, Arizona, will display gift and gourmet products, baskets, containers and a variety of supplies and services. The show will also feature three seminars conducted by gift basket experts Shirley Frazier, Linda Hamilton and Mary Ann Jacobs.

Registered buyers are eligible to enter the show's design competition, where three entrants will receive cash prizes for the winning gift basket designs. Buyers will receive complimentary snacks during the event and be eligible to win products donated by show exhibitors.

GBPN was founded in 1993 to unite gift basket industry professionals and to provide support
and guidance, share advanced design techniques and raise the bar in customer service standards.

To register, qualified buyers must submit a copy of their retail permit and business card.
